• Responsibilities:
• Offer tax preparation and consulting services to individuals, resident aliens with a focus on their international businesses and foreign earnings, as well as newcomers and investors from various countries;
• Assist new immigrant investors in comprehending the difference between accounting and tax regulations in foreign countries and those in the United States;
• Prepare income tax returns and annual reports for various types of corporations, including C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and other business entities;
• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft software proficiently to prepare, review, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards;
• Act as a representative for clients to handle tax-related matters, compose letters in response to tax notices, and engage in negotiations with government tax agencies, including the IRS and Mass DOR.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 24 months experience in Accounting or related positions.
• Possess an EA (Enrolled Agent) credential.
